Bertine Monsen (b. 2001) is a Norwegian freelance photographer and art director based in Oslo. She graduated from Bilder Nordic School of Photography in 2022 and completed her BA in Art Direction in 2025 at Westerdals Department of Creativity, Storytelling and Design at Kristiania University College, further expanding her creative and visual universe.
Her work is rooted in a deep love for fashion imagery and theatrical references. Through her photography, she explores fashion and design from her own perspective — blending a distinct creative vision with a refined commercial sensibility.
Bertine also collaborates with other artists to help shape their visual identities, building imaginative worlds that reflect their music and persona.
Experimentation is central to her practice, spanning genres such as portraiture and still life. Her work is characterized by a strong focus on light, color, movement, and set design, elements that together form the foundation of her visual expression.
